Local Outreaches:
Franklin Food Pantry - Certain Saturdays in the year, our congregation volunteers to work at the local food bank from 8:30 AM - Noon.
The workdays for our congregation in 2023 are April 8th, July 9th, & Oct 7th
We are also on schedule for January 6th, 2024.
Anyone is welcome to join us in this effort!

Carpenter's Tools - A group of workers from within our congregation who are ready to answer any call for help from within the community. If you're interested in being on this call list, contact the office.

Several of our members hand out English and Spanish Bibles, along with coloring books and other Bible material for FREE to anyone willing to take one. We welcome you to join us in this effort at any time! It's a very encouraging day of outreach.

Mission Works:
Russel Bell, India
Russell is a native Missourian and graduate of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Colorado and has served in four local works: Kremmling, Colorado for 1 1/2 years while in college; 5 1/2 years in Okanogan, Washington; 7 years in Cameron, Missouri; and 10 1/2 years at Northside in Topeka, Kansas. He has worked in world evangelism for the last 18 years.
During these 43 years, Russel has traveled overseas 93 times to preach and teach Christ. He has gone 8 times to Romania, 14 times to Germany, 3 times to Australia, 9 times to Cape Town, South Africa, 48 times to India, and once each to Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, the Philippines, Vietnam, Luxembourg, the Ukraine, Hungary, the Central African Republic, England, Honduras, Myanmar, and Mexico. He also preached in 3 Canadian Provinces, twice in British Columbia and Saskatchewan, and once in Ontario.

Eric B. King
Eric B. King is the minister of the Valley View church of Christ in Gilmer, TX. He is a native of Gilmer and a graduate of Texas A&M University.
He was raised by his grandparents, Ruby King and the late Miles "M.D." King. He is committed to taking the gospel "to all nations" and ministers at a multi-cultural congregation that represents what God wants His churches to look like.

David Hamrick, WBI of Georgia
DAVID W. HAMRICK, D.C.M., Vice-President & Extension Studies with World Bible Institute of Georgia. He establishes throughout the world Bible training schools for preachers specifically and Christians generally. Please pray for his work across our world.
David has been preaching since 1980. He is a graduate of Brown Trail School of Preaching, Freed-Hardeman University (B.A. in Bible), David Lipscomb University (M.A. in Religion), McDonough Bible Institute of Georgia (Hon. Doctorate in Christian Leadership) and has done graduate work at Harding Graduate School of Religion. David has done local preaching in Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
David served as the Director of Extensions for Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver for nine years during which he established numerous schools of preaching and Bible Colleges in six continents of the world. He served on the Board of Trustees for Parkview Christian School, has done extensive radio work, and writes for various brotherhood publications.
David's work is also affiliated with Christian Global Missions.

Children's Homes:
Sunny Glen Children's Home - Supplies are collected for the home in May and November.
Central Texas Children's Home -Supplies are collected for the home in March & September.
Lubbock Children's Home - Supplies are collected once in the summers when requested.
If you wish to help any of these collections, but do not have time to shop, money can be donated directly to this cause and one of our members (Margaret Hall) will shop for you. Items will be purchased a week ahead of pickup time.
Cherokee Home for Children - supported financially on a monthly basis through the church budgeted.
Fosters' Home for children - Green Coin Cans are available in the auditorium and fellowship hall for people to take home. Drop your loose change inside the cans over the weeks and return when full. A notice will go out in the bulletin when a representative from Fosters' Home plans to collect the cans.
Our youth and congregation may schedule a visit with the children's homes throughout the year. The date for these can be found in our calendar and bulletin when they are scheduled.
